A fool and his money

Yes, I am that fool. I don’t know why it is – but I like new stuff, so much so that I will generally have to buy it, paying very little attention to cost or need.

The reason for this rant however is Foxtel. Why on earth do I have it? Why on earth am I paying just under $AU100 per month for that priviledge? There really is very little on that I really want to watch – if I were so inclined I could probably download most of the shows that I do watch on there anyway.

I love their take on “Movies on Demand” … I have no idea where they get the phrase from – but it does definantly not describe the foxtel movie service. Yes, some really popular movies are repeated every 30 minutes, most however are not. And I am such a fan of the selection on offer – there is nothing this month at all that tickles my fancy. Surely that should at least have one movie for me?

I think as time wares away at me – I am becoming more aware of how foolish I am with my money, I wonder when I will actually be able to do something about it?
