Optus

One thing that really shits me is having my time wasted.

For the third time now I have called optus billing to advise them that I don’t actually have a rental handset and as such I shouldn’t have to pay rent on it. This upsets me – but what upsets me more is the phone system answers and asks for your full national number so that your call can be directed to the appropriate department.

Then, when your call is answered – they ask you for it again. Why bother? Why not use the data that the phone system has already trapped? Surely it isn’t that hard to attach it to the VOIP stream with the other customer data to their call centre in India. If Optus Mobile can do it – why not share the information – they are after all the same company.

Anyway – To get the charges reversed I have to send a Stat Dec to Mandeeb & Alexis in the call center – their fax number is 1300 301 317 (if you ever want to fax them too) :) Hopefully that will work this time.
