Ok, still playing. I got one of these – holy crap! They are shit. If you see something made by Sipura, either a SPA-1000, SPA-2000 or SPA-3000 Don’t buy it!
It has been so hard to setup to work with anything let alone asterisk. It doesn’t detect busy or even have anything resembeling australian tones and cadences.
For a product that is re-sold here – the re-sellers really appear to not give a crap.
It comes with a little tiny brochure, with no information beyond how to plug it in. If you want more support you are directed to a website… which you then have to be a RESELLER to actually log in and see any support content beyond the FAQ and a re-print of the un-handy “Quickstart guide”
All in all, if you don’t undestand what I am saying here – this is a CRAP product.
If I can work out the really weird notation on the tone generation strings – I will let you know what they in case there is somebody else out there unfortunate to enough to have paid money for it.
