This is a map of the bar district. My cousins bar is in there somewhere. It really is amazing the difference between a Japanese bar and what I know to be one. Actually come to think about it - it is not really amazing - but it is still something.
It is not uncommon for a bar here to only hold 10 or so people, my cousins - maybe 20 or 30 at a squeeze. I suppose space really is at a premium.
It is Ash’s birthday tomorrow, so we are at my cousins bar celebrating.
So next week I start at a large cell phone company doing some stuff. I just thought you might want to know 
This is normally where I have lunch. It is the “Shin Beauty Cafe”. I think there may be a beauty salon attached upstairs, but I can’t tell. Anyway the tuna focaccia is awesome.
Am having dinner at the moment in this awesome japanese place, very nice food.
Well, I am an official alien now. I can’t say I feel different. I can say I feel good about being here, this is the first time I have felt this good and comfortable in a long time. A lot of my comfort I owe to my cousin, her partner and my Aunt, they have been amazing hosts.
You really can’t grasp just how bit some of the things are here, I am in awe of just how large everything really is. The other thing that continues to amaze is the level of detail in everything, it is so big - but still so exact.
