There is a lot of people who join technology and art just so they can say they have – and the result is normally quite poor (think of the “award winning” room that was just a light that turns on and off). The above video is what I consider an excellent example of what creative minds can come up with. There is more information about it here.
The project was called GRL Laser Tag Rotterdam – using a 60mW Green Laser, a Pansonic DLP Projector, video camera and “loads and loads of AAA batteries”. By pointing the laser pointer at the building, the camera would track its position and then project the resulting image. A very cool result.
